The new S.T. Johnson Co. Electronic Oil Metering System (EMS) utilizes a characterized cam and light beam sensor to give laser-like precision to the fuel-air control system.
The new system is dubbed "SAM" for solid-state advanced (oil) metering and carries the following approvals:
  • Underwriters Laboratories
  •  New York City B.A.R.
EMS systems are available for all new Johnson model FD68 oil burners, and as a retrofit package.
