"...we have not seen a better Ultra Low NOx burner than the Johnson RX..."
Mike Bernath,   NW Industrial Mechanics, Inc., Vancouver, WA

The Johnson Type RX-I ultra-low NOx (ULN) burner is an effective and affordable front end solution to today's emissions problems. The patented ULN design is innovative, and simple to install and operate with all the characteristics of a conventional burner.

RX burners operate at sub-9 ppm NOx with excellent combustion efficiency and good load-following performance.  With low excess air and a moderate amount of FGR, RX burners provide a higher level of efficiency than most ULN burner designs. This can translate into significant fuel and electrical cost savings.

RX burners are also very flexible by design. They are available in a range of capacities and configurations to suit most boiler types and sizes. The side-mounted combustion air fan is configured to provide the best performance for an application. As an option, the air duct and windbox may also be customized to meet site-specific mounting requirements.
