Todd Cole joined S.T. Johnson as Sales Manager in 1995. Since then, he has worn many hats and been involved in all aspects of the business from sales and marketing to product design, engineering, operations and management. Todd has a wealth of experience to handle your most pressing needs.

Kyle joined the company in 2008 as a Sales Associate. He is excited about the opportunity to work with such an established business in the industry and with our many loyal customers. Kyle graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachelors degree in Economics and International Relations.

Mike joined S.T. Johnson in 2008. He comes to the company with over 12 years of experience in the design, engineering and manufacture of custom machinery and automation systems. He brings with him the ingenuity and experience that has always been a part of S.T. Johnson engineering.

Brett joined the company in early 2010 with almost 20 years of experience in combustion. Most recently, he was an applications and project engineer at Coen Company, specializing in custom solutions for difficult retrofit projects involving special fuels and low emissions. He also has extensive experience in the development of software systems for combustion engineering. Brett graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Reed has been a part of the S.T. Johnson family since 1984. Since that time he has been both the Plant Supervisor and Purchasing Manager. He has been in charge of receiving and shipping, building DHF burners, and wiring the burner control panels. Reed has enjoyed serving our customers’ needs with outstanding products and service.

Will started working for S.T. Johnson in 2003. He wears many hats here at the company and performs many duties - of which the main are quality control and support to our engineering needs. He works hard to make sure each Johnson Burner is built with the quality and care that the industry has come to expect from us.

Juan started his career with S.T. Johnson in 1991 and has been helping build Johnson Burners ever since. Today, as our Shop Foreman, Juan plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every Johnson Burner is manufactured with the highest quality and care.

Sonny Placido, Assembly Department Lead

Sonny has been a staple of S.T. Johnson since 1984 and has gained a tremendous amount of industry experience over the years. As the Assembly Department Lead he is an extreme value to both the company and its customers.

Antonio joined the company as a principal and President in 2007. He has worked in the burner industry since 1985, having most recently served as President and CEO of Coen Company, Inc. In the long course of his career, Antonio has had a chance to become familiar with all aspects of the combustion industry, having been involved at different times in field service, engineering, sales, operations and management. He has a BS in electronic engineering and is a licensed attorney in Mexican law. Please don’t hold the latter against him!

Barbara joined the company in January of 2008 as the Controller and assumed the added role of Production Manager in early 2009. She brings 35 years of experience in the burner industry to S.T. Johnson, having most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Coen Company, Inc. She has also been the Director of Manufacturing, Foreign Operations Manager, and other key posts in finance and operations, totaling over 20 years of management experience. Barbara received her Bachelor of Arts in Management from St. Mary's, and her MBA from the University of California, Davis.

Larry started with S.T. Johnson in 2008 developing and coordinating our network of outside manufacturing partners. He has been involved in the production of combustion equipment since 1965 as a buyer, planner, purchasing manager and more recently as Director of Manufacturing for Coen Company and Manufacturing Manager for SunBio Systems. In his career he has overseen the implementation of new MRP systems and successfully developed manufacturing outsourcing programs. He is a certified production and inventory manager by the APIS and the College of San Mateo and was a member of ABMA’s production committee.

Miroslava joined the company at the start of 2010 in bookeeping and general office services. She brings relevant experience to her job having previously managed an Abercrombie & Fitch store and a medical office. At S.T. Johnson, you’ll find her taking and directing your calls and handling many of the back-office functions required for processing your orders in a timely fashion. Miroslava graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Crop Management from the University of California, Davis.
